It’s been 200 years now since Yasihlab was defeated in the epic battle in Avilair but songs still praise and celebrate the courage of the «One hundred maisters». But songs are only that, songs, and, just one generation after that universe-changing event, they became folklore, myths to fantasise about in playgrounds for kids or dirty taverns for adults.
Prosperity came upon the lands of Arxania, and even being part of a guild became more of a title than a proper life occupation, passing from mothers to sons, from fathers to daughters, without any kind of training. Guilds compete in sports and games annually, fighting for the right to hold the Statue of Prosperity, the old totem which legends say grant immense powers to the bearers but no Arxanian knows how to use anymore.
So, it’s time for the Prosperity Games. This year, for the first time, they are being held in Catania, a newfound island east of the lands of Avilair.
